When I have a family, I would like to raise my children Jewish. I want my children to have the community Judaism brings with it. It would connect them with so many people. I would be part of a synagogue so that my children could go to Hebrew school and learn about Judaism and celebrate a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. This ritual is so important, not only because it gives children a deeper understanding of Jewish texts, but also because it exposes his or her friends to Judaism. I would also love to take my future family to Israel. When I went to Israel I felt deeply connected with my Judaism and I would love them to experience that.
