Journaling in advance of Tu Bishvat 

Tu Bishvat, the Jewish new year of the trees (celebrated this year on February 1-2) can be a meaningful and rich holiday. Trees played an important part in several pivotal Jewish stories and the Torah is referred to as an eitz chayim (tree of life). Tu Bishvat even inspired a renewed Jewish response to environmental issues. Let’s journal about what all this means to us. No journaling experience necessary. Please bring your journal/something to write on.

Light refreshments will be served.  

WHEN: Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM               

WHERE: Jenkintown Library 460 York Rd. (Use the back entrance in the parking lot; the door will open at 9:55)

COST: $10 (Free for Supporting Members of Kol Ami)
