Join us following services for a TAG talk by Cory Newman, PhD., director of the Center for Cognitive Therapy, and Professor of Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
A Kol Ami charter member Cory Newman will draw from his career-long experience as a clinical psychologist to review some of the most important principles of effective, constructive communication. Special emphasis will be on factors such as tact, discretion, assertiveness, patience, validation, and how to avoid lashon hara (the evil tongue).
