Our Membership Dues Philosophy

Congregation Kol Ami’s mission statement focuses on a commitment to creating and maintaining an intimate and involved Jewish community where spiritual growth, tradition, ritual, education, and learning provide meaning and comfort for our families, and each other, and where one’s presence is valued and one’s absence is felt.  Our values tell us we need to always be mindful of creating opportunities for engagement and inclusivity instead of barriers.

For these reasons, encouraging commitment and eliminating barriers to joining, in 2025 we transformed our traditional dues model.

Pay-As-You-Go:  No dues requirement and no voting rights; however, congregants may choose to be on our mailing list to be included in activities.  Classes and workshop fees, as well as dinners and other social events will be determined per event.  Children 12 and under are free for all events. Children 13-17 are half price.  Other than the High Holy Days, there is never a charge to attend services.

$118 per adult (18 or over) for HHD tickets (Children age 17 and under are free.)

       $700-$1000 per life-cycle event

Basic Membership: $500 per person 18 or over.  Guarantees voting rights, pastoral care as needed and HHD participation.  This level of membership still requires pay-as-you-go for events and reduced fee for life-cycle events.

Supporting Membership: $1000 or more per person 18 or over or $2000 or more per household.  Basic membership plus admittance to all events except dinners, and including life-cycle events.

Households w/Children: $1000 per person over 18.  Supporting membership including Hebrew School at the Keneseth Israel and b’nai mitzvah tutoring w/our clergy.

We want to encourage you to enjoy all the benefits of membership in Congregation Kol Ami.  We would love to talk with you about how you can become part of our community.  For more information about upcoming Shabbat services and events or membership in Congregation Kol Ami, please call us at 215-572-6094.
